Cofán, Kofán or A’i is an Amerindian town that lives in the northwest of the Amazon on the border between Colombia and Ecuador, between the Guamuez River, a tributary of the Putumayo River, and the Aguarico River, a tributary of the Napo River, in the province of Succumb. Its territory is distributed throughout this province.
